Welcome to the 2021 Pro Am Scramble!

 

We look forward to providing a very competitive and fun event. 

 

  • This year's event will be a 10:00am Shotgun.
  • Carts will be set up in 4 different sections based on starting hole. All carts will be labeled with team name and starting hole. Hole assingments will be published on Saturday, October 9th by 3pm.
  • Grass Tees are CLOSED for the season. We recently seeded this area and we are asking all players to stay off the grass tees and respect our facility. Range mats are available for your warm up session. 
  • Captains Meeting will be at 9:45am in the Bar & Grill. At the meeting each captain will receive a team packet consisting of:
    • Rule Sheet
    • Pin Sheet
    • Lunch Ticket and Drink Tickets
  • Optional Skins $80 Per Team Entry must be paid to proshop prior to teeing off.
  • All prize money for 1st - 3rd Place will be split accordingly. We will return to our normal suddent death playoff for first place. All other places prize money will be split accordingly. 
  • Upon completion of your round please verify and sign your official scorecard. The scorer will then turn scorecards into the scoring area.
  • A tv display of the leaderboard located in the bar and grill and will be updated as scores are posted.
  • Teams playing with a professional will receive 50% of prize total in the form of gift cards and 50% will be paid to the Professional by check issued on October 15th. Professionals will be required to complete a W9 for payment. Teams playing with 4 amateurs will receive gift cards. All gift card prizes will be awarded upon completion of event. For those teams not present, prizes will be held in golf shop and can be picked up at a later date including skins prizes.

 

2021 Pro Am Rules

 

  1. All male players tee off from the Black Tournament Tees; all female players tee off from the Gold Tees.
  2. Each team member may hit every shot thru the green until the ball is holed out. The team members are to decide which shot they prefer and hit from that location.  This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed out. Once the ball is holed out no further shots are allowed! – NO PRACTICE PUTTING! Which includes no practice putting in between nines while making the turn.
  3. Except for local rules of play and those regarding the scramble format, USGA stroke play rules govern all competition.  Additional local rules:  (II) Team members may stand behind one another to determine the line of a putt. All rules decisions will be made by Golf Operations Manager and Rules Chairman Kurtis Hartwig
  4. Team members may place their ball within one club length of the selected shot no nearer the hole.  Each shot must be played from the same condition as the original ball.  Please be aware the local rule pertaining to decorative grass is not in effect today.
  5. In accordance with rule 3, a team member may improve their lie by placing the ball or moving it with their club head no closer to the hole.
  6. Carts may never proceed past the ball once the approach shot has been selected and put in play. No team member may proceed past the playing position.  Penalty for violating this rule, 2 strokes.  A team member may mark a ball on the green, if it is directly obstructing another ball’s path to the hole. This team member cannot communicate with any other member of the team & must remain on the green. Please be respectful of the groups in front of you.
  7. When putting, the ball must be placed within two inches of the selected shot, no nearer the hole.  Once the ball is holed out, no further strokes are permitted. Penalty for violating this rule, 2 strokes per infraction.  NO PRACTICE PUTTING ALLOWED.
  8. A tie for First will be broken by a sudden death playoff - Second & Third place will be retained as ties and all prize money with be split accordingly.
  9. Skin Game (Optional)- $80 per team.  Skins won will be paid in cash.  If no skins are won, the skins pool will be added to the prize disbursement to those teams that participated in the skin pool. 1st Place = 50% of Pool, 2nd Place = 30% of Pool, 3rd Place = 20% of Pool
  10. Scorekeepers will be provided for each group.  They will have the official scorecard.  After each hole the scorer will mark the score, and the captain must verify the score by initialing it. At completion of the round the signed completed score card will be turned into the scoring area by the Scorekeeper. Please verify all scores are correct before signing as it could result in disqualification. Scorekeepers are for keeping score only! They are not Caddies or Rules Officials!
