Welcome to the 2018 Royal Oaks Invitational Event

The Royal Oaks Invitational Tournament is a three day, 54-hole individual stroke play tournament that features many of the top amateur golfers from around the Northwest. The tournament is comprised of three divisions: the Championship Division, the Junior-Senior Division, and the Senior Division. A player can be the Grand Champion of the tournament playing from any of the divisions, because everyone plays from the same set of tees.

The ROIT was first contested in 1957, and has a rich history of great champions including: Peter Jacobsen, Dave Glenz, Don Kreiger, Dick Yost, Dick Iverson, Scott Masingill, Fred Haney, Gregg Guernsey, Jonathan Moore, Jesse Heinly and Paul Peterson to name just a few. (Click on the Past Results for a complete listing of all our past champions by division.)

Royal Oaks Country Club has long been recognized for being one of the best golf courses in the state of Washington and arguably the best in the Portland metro area. Its tight tree lined fairways and hard fast undulating greens make Royal Oaks one of the greatest tests of golf in the Northwest.
