Uplands Golf Club is one of only four semi-private golf clubs in the Capital and situated on 120 scenic acres adjacent to the University of Victoria.  Just 10 minutes from downtown Victoria, it is accessible from all Greater Victoria districts.

Uplands Golf Club has strived to create an environment where you can experience golf in a relaxed and natural setting, only minutes from the centre of Victoria.  As you play its immaculate fairways and greens you will marvel at the beauty and variety of the trees, enjoy the wildlife on and around the water features on the 13th, 14th and 15th holes and take in the majestic views of the Cascades as you approach the 16th green and 17th tee.   As a certified member of the Audubon Sanctuary Programme, Uplands continues its commitment to ensuring that the underlying principles and guidelines of nature conservation are fully adhered too.

A challenge awaits you each time you come to Uplands Golf Club.  This classic 18-hole course stretches over 6,420 yards at the Gold markers and offers a challenging course which has hosted many Golf Canada National, Provincial, and local championships including the PGA Tour Canada. This parkland design continues to evolve with the most recent upgrades by course architect Jeff  Minga.  Uplands Golf Club is most recognized for its exceptional well-groomed fairways and greens which are playable on a year-round basis.  Our course superintendent, Brian Youell, was honoured in  2001 – Master Superintendent Designation CGSA;  2013 – CGSA - “Superintendent of the Year Award” For Canada and in 2018 – Rainbird/CGSA Environmental Achievement Award for Canada

Victoria is the host with the most”.

That is what the golf pros on the Mackenzie Tour PGA Canada Tour say when Uplands Golf Club was voted the best stop on the 2019 Tour.

Our six sets of tee boxes allow you to adapt the challenge of the game to your level of ability while enjoying good camaraderie in a picturesque setting.   So much so, that the conversation in the bar lounge or restaurant after the game may turn to “not what you scored” but to “what you have seen on the course” - the hawk on the 8th, perhaps a snowy owl on the 7th, a heron fishing close by the 13th green, a deer with her baby fawns or eagles in flight over the 15th hole.
