Format

• 1 Net Better Ball of 2 Canterbury Members + 1 Better Ball of 2 Picard Cup Players                                              

Tees                Black Tee Markers      (Picard Cup Mid Ams)

                        Blue Tee Markers        (Picard Cup Seniors & Canterbury Members)

                        White Tee Markers     (Canterbury Members 60 and over with a handicap of 15 or higher)

                        Green Tee Markers     (Canterbury Members 75 and over with a handicap of 15 or higher)

 

Rules

• USGA Rules will govern play, except as noted in the Local Rules

 

Local Rules

• Out of Bounds – Defined by White stakes and White lines.  When a line is used, the line defines.  Exterior Property Fence: Defined by the interior of the fence at ground level.
• Our new local rule which gives players an additional option for a Lost Ball or a ball Out of Bounds is in play for this and all events.
• Short Game Area between holes #2, #4, and #5 is an integral part of the course and the ball is played as it lies, except if on the practice green.  If the ball is on the green take relief to the nearest point, not nearer the hole, and drop the ball.
• The Parking Lot is Out of Bounds (Holes 9, 10, 15, 18).  The drive way is In Bounds (Holes 9, 12, 15, 18)
• Sod Seams:  Relief is given for the lie of the ball only. 
• Distance Measuring Devices (for measuring distance only):  Are allowed.

 

 

Severe Weather

• Intermittent high tones of the horn – play must be suspended immediately.
