Play it Safe Pledge

In accordance with state health guidelines, we want to assure our golfers and volunteers that the Chambers Bay Solstice event will plan for and follow appropriate measures on event day. Your pledge to Play it Safe will be critical to everyone's health and enjoyment.

Our guidelines include:

  • Hosting a no-contact event check-in system.
  • Screening participants, staff, and volunteers for vaccination and negative test status
  • Maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more between players and event volunteers at all times.
  • No sharing of golf equipment.
  • Limiting contact by having the flag remain in the hole at all times.
  • Providing additional hand washing and sanitizing stations and cleaning high traffic areas regularly.

For the safety of others we thank you in advance for wearing your facial covering when passing through registration, the Turn, the Transition Zone, and when interacting with staff and volunteers.

Our intent is to be inclusive of all participants and provide an opportunity to play if possible.  As the situation evolves and medical advice clarifies the risks you should evaluate your participation carefully.  We will maintain a robust waiting list of players to allow any at risk golfers the opportunity to withdraw if the situation or health concerns change up to four weeks prior to the event.

We continue to monitor developments and recommendations from the authorities and will adjust our operations plan as necessary.
