Below you will find the menu and approximate serving time of the marathon-appropriate food we will be serving during the event.

 

A critical factor in having a great day and keeping pace is consistent nutrition and ample hydration.  Eating too much or too little can impact your energy levels, concentration, and recovery.  The Chambers Bay staff worked with experts to develop a series of modest portion, marathon snacks averaging 200 calories, perfect for most golfer's nutrition needs for each 6 to 9 holes (depending on weight, fitness, and pace*).  Check the menu below to see what's being served.

Be sure to eat a good dinner the night before and breakfast to prepare for the day ahead.  To get you from your starting hole to your first pass through the Transition Zone, the Player Gift Bag will contain a granola bar and bottle of water.  Pack your favorite snack in your golf bag, too.

 

Depending on preference or unique needs, feel free to pack any suppliemental items in your Transition Zone gear or golf bag.
