Event Overview 

 

Registration Opens: March 28 at 9:00am

 

Registration Closes: June 13 at 11:59pm

 

Registration Fee: $130 per player (includes range fee, lunches and prizes)

 

Format: 36-holes individual stroke play, two-day event.

 

Eligibility: Open to any amateur female player who is a member of a Member Club or an Individual Member of Pennsylvania Golf Association. All players must not have reached their 19th birthday by June 27.

 

Divisions:  Females Ages 14-18 

 

Field: Limited to 156 players. The top-15 players from the 2021 earn exemptions into the championship if eligible. Entries will then be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  A wait list will be established to accommodate any overflow in entries.

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is prohibited. A player may NOT utilize a caddie who is over the age of 18. Parents, stepparents, grandparents and guardians are not permitted to caddie.

 

Spectator Carts: Spectator carts are not permitted

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: Lebanon CC will allow practice rounds for $50 on Monday June 13th after 3pm. Players should call the golf shop (717) 272-1873 three days in advance of their intended practice round date. Credit card and cash are acceptable forms of payment for practice rounds. 

 

Pairings: Play will be in threesomes at 10-minute intervals.  First-round results will determine second round pairings. 

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form, will determine pairings and tee times.

 

Ties: In the event of a tie for the Junior Girls’ Championship, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. For flag award presentation only, all other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.

 

In the Junior Girls’ Team Championship, the third score from the final round will be added to the total team score. If a tie still exists, the third score from the first round will be added. Teams with only two players will suffer defeat against a team with three players for failure to have a tiebreaker score.

 

Prizes: The individual with the lowest gross score after 36 holes will be declared the Junior Champion.  Prizes will also be given to the top-two finishers in the Junior Championship.

 

The Boys’ team competition is the best 3 of 4 scores each day.  Girls’ team competition is best 2 of 3 scores each day.  The teams with the lowest total score after 36-holes will be declared the Junior Team Champions. The winning teams will be awarded individual prizes.

 

AJGA Stars: Champion - Fully Exempt; Top 3 - 12 Stars; Top 5 - 8 Stars; Top 10 - 4 Stars
