Tee Time Registration FAQs
How do I add my name to a tee sheet?
- Sign in to the GG Portal (the drop down at the right end of the menu has the link).
- Select Tee Time Sign Up
- Find the round that you want to schedule. If there are positions open for the round, click on that round.
- Find an opening that works for you and Select it.
- You are now on the tee sheet!
How do I change my tee time?
Currently, there is no way for you to change your tee time on your own. If you do need to change your tee time, text Kay at 619-339-8524 or click the HELP button on the Tee Sheets page and send a message using the link to Kay.
How do I cancel a tee time?
To cancel a tee time while the tee sheet is open, you need to contact Kay. You can text Kay at 619-339-8524 or click the HELP button on the Tee Sheets page and send a message using the link to Kay. If the tee sheet is no longer open for sign-up (you are cancelling after 6 pm two days before the game day), you need to call the Balboa Park Golf Course pro shop to let them know that you cannot make your scheduled time. Please notify Kay as well after you have notified the pro shop.

I just noticed that a couple of late tee times disappeared. What happened?
Our agreement with the City requires us to release any unneeded tee times eight days prior to the date of the round. At 7 pm on Tuesday night, we consolidate the tee sheet to the fewest possible tee times and release what we don't need to the course which are then offered to the general public. Those tee times that disappeared likely were the ones we released.
How will I know when a new tee sheet is Open for sign-ups?
We plan to open new tee sheets each week. The new tee sheet will open on Thursday night at 7 pm for the round to be played exactly four weeks later. Alternatively, the Calendar for the year is under Home on this portal and it has the date that each tee sheet will open for sign-up.
When will the tee sheet close?
The tee sheet will close at 6 pm Tuesday night before we play on Thursday. After that, any cancellation needs to be reported directly to the Balboa Park Golf Course Pro Shop (see number above). Do not confuse the date that the tee sheets close with the date that we will compact the tee sheet. If you wait to book until after the tee sheet is compacted, there may be no tee times available, so try to book soon after the tee sheets open.
I just tried to cancel a tee time and it says that the tee sheet is closed. What do I need to do?
Call the Balboa Park Golf Course 619-235-1184 and let them know that you won't be playing. Please also send a text to Kay at 619-339-8524 or send an email using the HELP link on this Portal on the Tee Sheets.
