Distance-Measuring Devices - In local qualifying and in the Championship proper, a player may obtain distance information by use of a distance-measuring device. If, during the round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., elevation changes, wind speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3.  Please review the guidelines for their use and for restrictions on their capabilities HERE - DMD Info.

One-Ball Rule - The “One-Ball Rule” is in effect – Local Rule as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule G-4.

Transportation - Please read entire section - The player or the player’s caddie may ride in a golf cart during a stipulated round, but both may not ride at the same time. Additionally, the USGA reserves the right to limit or suspend the use of golf carts due to inclement weather, unsafe use of the golf cart or circumstances where use of the golf cart would present a hazard to others, the course officials, the golf course or for other unforeseen circumstances.

If two players in a group request a golf cart, only one cart will be distributed to that group.  If three players request a golf cart, two carts will be distributed.

If the player’s caddie has a disability and the caddie would like to ride in a golf cart throughout the stipulated round in addition to the player, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a disabled caddie may be permitted to use of a golf cart as an accommodation to his or her disability.
