Two Man 6-6-6 – Saturday, July 23rd & Sunday, July 24th.

Entry deadline is Tuesday, July 19th at 6:00 PM.

Day one is at Spring Hill Golf Course and day two is at Meadow Hills Golf Course.

Players must select their own partners for this event

If a player chooses a partner and their course handicaps differ by 10 shots or more, the higher handicap player will be lowered to the 10 stroke difference for this tournament.

This “10 shot rule” will be in effect for all two-man events.

Please make sure that you indicate who your partner is when you sign-up.

There will be four flights for this event.  Flights will be determined by the combined handicaps of both players.  This unique tournament features three separate formats.  The lowest team score in each flight wins.

Day One at Spring Hill       Day Two at Meadow Hills

Holes 1-6       Scramble                                     Holes 1-6          Best Ball

Holes 7-12     Modified Scotch                          Holes 7-12       Modified Scotch

Holes 13-18   Best Ball                                     Holes 13-18     Scramble

The scramble is played using standard scramble rules.  Best Ball requires that both players play their own ball on each hole.  The lowest net score is used for the team score.

The Modified Scotch requires that both players hit from the teeing area.  The team then selects one of the two balls for the second shot.  If player A’s ball is selected, then player B must hit the second shot.  Players continue to alternate play until the ball is holed.

A team skins game will be played.  Entry is $20.00 per team per day.

The order of play for this tournament will be First Day at Spring Hill 2,3,4,1/Second Day at Meadow 3,4,1,2.

Pace of Play Policy

It is expected that ALL groups play their round in 4 hours and 20 minutes or less.  Tee times will be at 9 or 10 minute intervals, and the starter will ensure that each group starts at their designated start time using the official clock located on the 1st tee box. Please be ready to tee off.

There will be three checkpoints where the TIME CARD in the group will need to be timestamped. After the 9th hole and after 18 hole.  Do not punch until all players have completed the hole. Pace of play penalties will be assessed, as follows, without exception based on the official start time and the latest punch of each group after their round:

•         If the first group of the tournament plays the first 18 holes in more than 4 hours and 5 minutes, each player in the group will receive a 1-stroke penalty.

•         All players in any pairing group that finishes the front 9 in more than 2 hours and 10 minutes AND is more than 10 minutes behind the group in front of them will receive a 1-stroke penalty per player assessed on hole 9.  If the group manages to catch up and finish in position after the 18th hole, the 1-stroke penalty from the front 9 will be rescinded.

•         All players in any pairing group that finishes 18 holes in more than 4 hours 20 min AND is more than 10 minutes behind the group in front of them will receive a 1-stroke penalty per player assessed on hole 18.

•         Any card turned in without three-time stamps will receive a 1-stroke penalty assessed on hole 18.
