The City of Fort Lupton, in partnership with Jacobs, is pleased to present the Jon Mays Memorial Fore Youth Golf Tournament at Coyote Creek Golf Course. The tournament was renamed in 2023 to honor Jacobs Project Manager and Fort Lupton resident, Jon Mays, and his legacy of service to his community.

The annual tournament is a four-person scramble and raises funds in support of the Fort Lupton Recreation Center’s Teen Program and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County - Fort Lupton Clubhouse. The event is an ideal opportunity to enjoy a day on the course with friends and colleagues, promote your brand and raise money for a worthwhile cause. Registration starts at $115 (Individual) and $415 (Foursome), with sponsorships available at a variety of price points. Prices go up after April 14, so register today to take advantage of the early-bird pricing.

We hope to see you on the green!

About Jon Mays

Jon Mays led the Jacobs team that manages Fort Lupton, Colorado's water and wastewater utilities. With a keen interest in the technical and biological aspects of water and wastewater treatment, he served as the project manager from 2017 to 2022 and held high-level water and wastewater operator certifications. Every year Jon looked forward to planning the tournament, helping raise thousands of dollars for local youth and recreation programs. Jon passed away in August 2022 and is greatly missed by his family, friends and the Fort Lupton community.

The tournament was renamed in 2023 to honor Jon's legacy and recognize his commitment to the Fort Lupton community.
