Format & Rules

• Format –18-hole medal play
• USGA rules will govern all play, except for the local rules:
• Championship Flight will play the WBCA Red Tees
• AA & A Flight will play from the  WBCA Blue Tees
• B, C, & D Flights will play the WBCA White Tees
• All players without an established GHIN handicap will automatically be moved up one flight.
• The fourteen-club rule IS in effect.
• The one ball rule is NOT in effect
• Players that do not play within their flight or during the designated time will be disqualified from medal play. Will only be able to compete for hole prizes and door prizes.
• All out-of-bounds are defined by the inside golf course side edge of all drainage ditches, white stakes, fences and golf course boundaries.
• Lateral water penalty areas are defined by painted red lines (all water penalty areas are lateral)
• Ground Under Repair is defined by the white circular painted areas and the following:
• Rock Lined Tree well on 18 – If a player’s stance or swing is impeded, the player is entitled to relief no nearer the hole.
• Rock garden (#5), any Newly Sodded Areas, Flower beds( #6) behind green, Gas well pads, irrigation trenches, & control valve boxes.
• All boulders used for decorative purposes are considered integral parts of the golf course and players will NOT be entitled to relief, without penalty.
• Any bare area defined by the group as being where fairway would otherwise be.
• There is a drop circle located behind hole (2) for shots over the green, as an option with a one stroke penalty.
• Every player must exchange scorecards prior to the start of the round
• Two signatures are required on every scorecard prior to being turned in at the scoring area.
• All play will be closely monitored by marshals and staff members for slow play, please keep a good pace of play.
• All Closest to the Pin prizes must be measured and signed for by witnesses in order to count.
• There will be a (9) shot limit for all players on every hole. If the golf ball is not holed out on the 8th shot, please pick up and write a 9 on the scorecard.
