Overton Park Junior Open

Founded in 1946, the Overton Park Junior Open is one of the nation’s oldest kids’ golf tournaments.  The event is open at no charge to all players regardless of golfing experience and is organized in multiple fights for boys and girls aged 8 – 17.  The OPJO gives participants the opportunity to compete and learn more about the game while developing friendships and just having fun. 

The OPJO is staged on the historic Overton Park 9-hole golf course.  Created in 1906, this venue was renovated, modernized, and reopened for play in Summer, 2022. The event is produced by an all-volunteer group representing a partnership of the Overton Park Conservancy and Memphis Parks. 

ABOUT REGISTRATION:

- Registration opens on May, 31 2022 and is limited to the first 200 entries.

- Participants must be registered no later than 5:00PM on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

- Pairings and tee times for the Monday, July 11 qualifying rounds will be posted no later than 12:00PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

- There is no registration fee. The tournament is free of charge to all participants.
