FGAoE COURSE RULES

 

Tee area

- Non-FIFG plastic tees are permitted for use.

- Ball can be moved back from the Teeing line up to 2 metres, no wider than Tee markers.

 

Boundaries

- Anything beyond the external boundaries of the FootGolf course is out of bounds, return to previous shot position +1 penalty.

 

Fairways

- Your ball can only be marked if you are asked.

- Your ball strikes another ball, Your ball remains in position while opponents ball is moved back to position prior to contact.

- Player A has his ball marked by Player B, Player A can return the ball to marked area.

 

GUR

- All Ground Under Repair will be marked and relief can be taken at the nearest point, no closer to the hole.

- No GUR marked, ball to be played as it lies or a penalty drop +1 shot will be required.

 

Bunkers

- All bunkers are in play and must be played as a hazard kick (standing shot).

- All bunkers are to be smoothed to the best of the players ability - failure to attempt to smooth footprints will result in a 1 stroke penalty.

- If a player's ball lands in the bunker and is in a footprint a player may take relief from the footprint at the nearest point of relief.

 

Obstacles

- TEE Markers must not be removed in any situation.

- Hole direction, sail flags and any man made object can be removed if in dirct line of play

- Man made objects that are unmovable, relief can be taken at the nearest point.

 

Green area

- Your ball must be marked if within 3 metres of the hole.

- The Flag can be removed prior to your shot, the Flag must be replaced once your shot is complete - +1 shot penalty for failing to do so.

- The Flag must not be held by any person at any point during the round. +1 penalty for Player attending the Flag and the Player kicking.

 

Scorecards

- All players must check and agree to all the scores on the scorecard before handing it in, by performing a check after the match has been concluded.

- The full group are responsible for handing the scorecard in at the end of each Round, this should be done as a group.

- All Players to sign the scorecard.

 

Presentation

- Presentation will take place once the event is complete.

- Players to be in attendance to claim any Award.
