Endicott Cup - Tri- State Matches

- Registration: Opens September 1st and closes September 27th.
- Eligibility: Handicap Index of 17.0 or lower and entrants must have posted at least ten Connecticut scores in 2022. Players will be selected and notified by email after the entries close with additional information.
- Fees: Entry fee is $130 and includes cart fees, prizes, continental breakfast, and light lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. Players earning a spot in the Day 3 matches will pay an additional cart fee of $25 plus tax.
- Format: All contestants must play the two-day stroke play tournament for the Endicott Cup. At the completion of those rounds, 16 players will play on day three to represent Connecticut in the Tri-State and Eaton Cup three-ball matches. Seven matches will be played at scratch and seven matches will be played at net. An alternate player will be selected for each category. Should there be no occasion to utilize an alternate team member, then all alternate player matches will be added to the team's point total. If an alternate's presence is required to fill a vacant position in the first seven positions of either the scratch or net teams, the remaining alternate scores will not be added to the team totals. A Tri-State Bowl will be awarded to the winning state of the gross category. The Mrs. Charles F. Eaton trophy will be awarded to the winning state of the net category.
- Schedule of Events:
- Tuesday 10/11 - Round 1 of Endicott Cup. 12:30 Shotgun start.
- Wednesday 10/12 - Round 2 of Endicott Cup. 9:30 Shotgun start. 6:00 p.m. Team dinner at Cafe Allegre in Madison for those advancing to Tri-state and Eaton Cup Matches.
- Thursday 10/13 - Tri-state and Eaton Cup Matches - 9:30 shotgun start.
- Registration: Register online. All entrants will be "wait-listed" until registration closes. Then, the participant's credit card will be charged.
- Practice Rounds: Practice rounds are available Monday through Thursday for $50, including cart. Call the pro shop (203-245-2336) to arrange.
- Hotel: Rooms blocked at Comfort Inn, 2300 Boston Post Rd, Guilford at a reduced rate of $132 per night (2 double beds). Use "Endicott" when booking (203.453.5600). Book by 9/8/22 to guarantee.
