  • Amateur Golfers (Male and Female)
  • All Ages
  • Must have a RDGA/USGA Handicap Index.
  • Players of all abilities welcome.

Event Format

  • 36-holes of stroke play net 100% handicap.
  • You will play from one of the two tees listed below.
  • You will compete against players using the same tee and will be be placed into evenly sized flights based off Handicap Index.
    • Blue Tee Men - 6,190 yards (Approximately 4-5 Flights)
    • Gold Tee Women - 4,906 yards (Approximately 2-3 Flights)

 

Schedule of Events

 

Tuseday, August 7

  • Player Registration opens at 6:30 AM
  • Tee Times beginning at 7:30 AM off of #1 Tee 
  • Lunch will be made available at the turn or after the round

 

Wednesday, August 8

  • Player Registration opens at 6:30 AM
  • Tee Times beginning at 7:30 AM off of #1 Tee (Round 1 Tee Times Flipped)
  • Lunch will be made available at the turn or after the round
  • Scoring, awards, and light hors d'oeuvres immediately following play

 

Cart Policy

All contestants must use a motorized cart. (Included in registration fee)

 

Caddies

Caddies are NOT allowed for this event.
 

Pairings

  • Tee times will be provided approximately a week before the event.
  • Players will play in threesomes based on tee selection and flight. All play will tee off Hole #1 both days.
  • Tee times will begin at 7:30am each day and will be set at 10 minute intervals.

 

 Range

The practice range will be open to all players beginning at 6:30am.

 

Food Services

  • Lunch is included in the entry fee for all players each day.  Please only one lunch per player per day. 
  • There will be light hors d'ouevres served following the play of Round 2, which are included in the entry fee.
  • A cash bar will be available both days.

 

Prizes

Men:

  • Men's Division will have an Overall Net Champion (all players included) and a Net Winner in each flight.
  • After the Flight Winners are determined, all ties in each flight will be combined for awarding of prizes.
  • The RDGA will pay prizes in the form of pro shop certificates to approximately 1/4 of the field.

Women: 

  • Women's Division will have an Overall Net Champion (all players included) and a Net Winner in each flight.
  • After the Flight Winners are determined, all ties in each flight will be combined for awarding of prizes.
  • The RDGA will pay prizes in the form of pro shop certificates to each flight winner and approximately 1/4 of the field.

 

Tie Breaking

Ties will be broken by the USGA Tie Breaking Formula (Matching of Cards). In depth breakdown here.

 

Score Posting

Competitor is responsible to post score, Score Type: Tournament.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tournament entry fees will be made in accordance with the following rules:

  1. If the player withdraws BEFORE the registration deadline, he/she will be granted a refund of the full entry, minus the $10.00 credit card processing fee. (The refund will be credited back to the players card).

 

  1. If the player withdraws from a tournament AFTER the registration closes, no refund will be granted.

 

RDGA Code of Conduct

The RDGA and its member clubs believe that participation in RDGA amateur events is a privilege that includes responsibilities.

 

Contestants must be amateurs and members in good standing at an RDGA club. They must adhere to all RDGA tournament requirements including Handicap Index, age, gender (for selected events), appropriate golf attire, mandatory use of riding carts at selected events, and local host club rules that apply to players during a competition.

 

USGA Rules will govern all play in RDGA events including Local Rules noted on the Notice to Players at each competition. All players should familiarize themselves with Section I.  Etiquette: Behavior on the Course in the current Rules of Golf book.
