Thank you for your entry into the 74th OGA Tournament of Champions, April 7th & 8th, 2018 at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club – South Course.  Below you will find a link to your starting time for the first round on Saturday, April 7th.  Upon the completion of Saturday’s round, the field will be repaired by gross score for the final round on Sunday, April 8th. Starting times will be available Saturday evening, for Sunday’s final round.  These pairings will be available at www.oga.org or you may call 503-989-0069 between the hours of 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

New this year: players can download the Golf Genius App and enter the GGID: OGATOFC. This will provide updated results and additional player information specific to the OGA Tournament of Champions.

Practice Rounds: Players may call The Reserve at 503-649-8191 at any time to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds are available on a space available basis beginning April 1st, the week prior to the championship. When scheduling a practice round on Sunday, times will be available after 1 pm. Contestants are eligible for one complimentary practice round. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as a Tournament of Champions contestant in order to receive your free practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.

Course Yardage: Click here for yardages that will be used during the championship. Yardages and Course Ratings are subject to change at any time by the Committee.

Format and Prizes: 36-hole stroke play competition with a Men’s, Senior Men's and Women’s division. All prize awards will be made on the basis of GROSS finish for the Men’s and Senior Men’s Division and Gross and Net for the Women’s Division. Gift Cards will be awarded to top finishers and are only redeemable at The Reserve. Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be issued to the Gross Men's, Senior Men's and Women's Champions.

 

Food & Beverage: The OGA will host lunch for all contestants on Saturday, round 1 of the championship.   

The Reserve restaurant will be open for breakfast beginning at 6:30 am on both Saturday and Sunday.

 

Practice Range: The driving range will be open at 6:30 am each day during the championship.  Warm up range balls will be made available to contestants prior to each round.

 

Cart Reservations: Carts have been reserved based on requests indicated on the entry forms.  Appropriate cart fees must be paid by the contestant to the Pro Shop at the time of rental.  As a reminder, please follow any cart path restrictions posted by The Reserve.

 

Caddies: You may bring your own; The Reserve will not have caddies available.

 

Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times.  Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind or color, or unkempt clothing of any kind.  Neat and clean pants, skirts, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts no more than 6 inches above the knee (men’s shorts must have a minimum of three pockets) are acceptable, as are sweaters and sweatshirts, golf shirts (men’s must have collars), women’s golf shirts and golf blouses.  Shoes must be worn at all times.  Contestants not in compliance with the OGA Dress Code will be Disqualified from the championship and removed from the golf course.

 

Spikeless Shoes: It is a condition of this competition that metal or traditionally designed spikes are prohibited.  This includes alternative spikeless products, which are partially comprised of metal, when such metal comes in contact with the turf.  The penalty for breach of this condition is disqualification.

 

Golf Balls: Only brands of golf balls on the USGA’s latest list of conforming balls shall be used.  The “One Ball Rule” shall not be in effect.

 

Golf Clubs: Optional condition is in effect as prescribed in Appendix I in the Rules of Golf.

 

OGA Pace of Play Guidelines: will be in effect during the championship.  Pace of Play guidelines will be available before each round at the starter’s tent.

Score Posting: will be done by the OGA for each round after the championship has been completed.  The OGA will post each player’s adjusted score to GHIN as a tournament score, for handicapping purposes.
