WELCOME TO THE 2022 PARENT CHILD CHAMPIONSHIP

 

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

 

START TIMES:

• 9-HOLE TEAMS ONLY will begin with a Shotgun Start on the Back 9 at 8AM Saturday.  Please be on time ready to head to your holes by 7:45am.  Teams will play holes 10-18 only (teams playing hole 18 will continue to hole 10).
• 18-HOLE TEAMS ONLY will begin with a Shotgun Start at 10AM.

 

Divisions (assigned by age of the child):

• Juniors age 9 & Under - 9-Hole Division
• Juniors age 12 & Under - 18-Hole Division
• Juniors age 13-17 - 18-Hole Division
• 'Juniors' age 18 & Over - 18-Hole Division

 

Tees:  Regardless of assigned division, tees will be assigned by players' ages and/or gender

  -The following is estimated tee assignments. Final tee assignments will be noted on rules sheet day of play.

• Boys 9 & Under / Girls 12 & Under:  Carolina Tees (appr. 3,000 yards)
• Boys 10-12:  Orange Tees (appr. 3,600 yards)
• Ladies 13 & Over:  Red Tees (appr. 4,500 yards)
• Boys 13-14 / Men 60 & Over:  Gold Tees (appr. 5,200 yards)
• Males 15 & Over:  White Tees (appr. 6,100 yards)

 

Format:  Chapman Scotch -

• Both players drive from respective tees. Players will then hit his/her partner's ball on the second shot.  Following the second shots, the team will select the best ball and players will alternate shots on the selected ball until the ball is holed.
• BE PATIENT if you haven't played it before - it'll come to you after a couple holes!
