Welcome to the Willow Run Men’s Golf Association!

 

The mission of WRMGA is to create a fun golfing environment for all members by facilitating competitive golfing events that provide all players with an opportunity to win prizes and socialize with other members.

 

Dues

Yearly dues of $80 per person include:

• Opening night Keg and hor'Dourves
• Last night steak night

• Eligible to play in the Men's Club Championship

Starting Times

Men's Day will go from 8:00am-6:30 pm.  You may play anytime during that time frame.  You may play 9 or 18 holes.  If you would like to play both games, there will be an additional $15 charge.  This will allow us to have more players play on Men's Day throughout the day.  You must play with at least one other WRMGA member.  If you are a WRMGA member and you play between 8:00 am – 6:30 pm you will be charged for the game.

 

Standing Tee Times

Standing tee times will be available again in 2022! Standing times can be reserved anytime throughout the day. Cost of a standing tee time is $285 - which covers all of your weekly games throughout the year. Contact the pro shop for availability. (Earlier tee times may be affected on days that Willow Run hosts a corporate event).

 

Flights

Each week all players will be put in a flight based on their handicap index. Flight breakdowns are determined by the number of players participating with an effort to create equal numbers of players in each flight. Flights are determined solely by the WRMGA committee. It is the goal of the committee to ensure all players have an equal opportunity to be competitive within their own flight.

 

Skins

Each week there will be a skins game.  Skins will be determined three ways.  Gross skins, net skins or both gross and net skins.  Depending on the number of winners we have will depend on the type of skins game we will have.  The goal is to get multiple winners in the skins games.

 

Tees

Play will be from the BLUE tees unless otherwise noted.

Seniors (55 & over) may play from the WHITE tees.

Please mark on your scorecard each week if you played from the white tees.

Those 55 and older can declare to play from the blue tees, but that participant will play from the blue tees for the entirety of the WRMGA season.

 

Weekly Competition

All WRMGA members that are playing during Men’s Day are required to play in the weekly competition. Each week $15 gets you into 3 games: The weekly game, the skins game (100% cash payout), and the hole-in-one pot (currently at $500 cash). Payment for the weekly competition will be billed to your GreatLIFE account.

 

Prize Money & Bonus Money

Prize money will be in the form of GreatLIFE Pro Shop Credit. All Pro Shop Credit will be stored at Willow Run and can be used for Pro Shop Merchandise ONLY. Results will be posted on the Willow Run website each week. All credit will expire October 31, 2022 and all skins not picked up before December 1, 2022 will be forfieted to the WRMGA.

Please check in with the pro shop before play to sign up for the weekly game, to check on any updates, and get any essentials you may need.
