Women's Match Play Championship

The 2018 Women's Match Play Championship will be held May 4-6th at Swope Memorial Golf Course. This championship is open for registration March 1, 2018 at 10 AM through Golf Genius. The entry fee is $80 and the deadline to register for this championship is April 26th at 11:59 PM.

The tournament begins with an 18-hole gross, stroke play round on that Friday, May 4th. The top 8 scores from Friday then make it to match play where the quarterfinals will begin Saturday morning. The semi-finals of match play will take place Saturday night and the final match will be held Sunday morning, May 6th. The semi-finalists and finalist are quaranteed gift certificates for their exceptional play.

Last year's Womens Match Play had an intense, close championship match between Lacey Shelton and Erin Carney, with Shelton claiming the 2017 Womens Match Play Champion 1-up. The KCGA hopes this year's Womens Match Play is just as exciting.
