Kansas City Match Play Championship

This year's Kansas City Match Play Championship will be held at Swope Memorial Golf Club on May 18-20th.

With origins back to 1902, the Kansas City Match Play has a storied history as a major regional competition, attracting amateur players from all over the regional area.  The championship marks its recorded beginnings in 1946, when it was contested at Indian Hills Country Club. However, many note that the start of the championship may have dated back to 1902. While the Kansas City Match play took a 10-year break, with the revival of the championship in 2013, the event played for the 100th time in recorded history in May 2015, with Swope Memorial playing host in 1958. The history of the Kansas City Match Play and the history of Swope Memorial Golf Course make the course and championship a perfect match.

Registration opens March 1, 2018 at 10 AM and ends May 11th at 11:59 PM. The entry fee for each golfer is $85.
