4 Person Scramble

Thank you for participating in our season opening event – March Madness.
Event Format:
4 Person Scramble Event
Scramble Rules:
All four players tee off from their respective tee. After teeing off, the team members decide which shot they prefer and then hit from that location. This procedure is repeated until the ball is holed.
Notes: If the shot selected is to be played from a penalty area, sand trap, rough, fairway, or fringe of the green, with the exception of improving your lie 1 club (no closer to the hole) you may not change the condition that the ball lies in. When putting, the ball must be placed within 6 inches of the selected shot (no closer to the hole). Teams are cautioned not to make tap-ins until all players have had an opportunity to make the team’s original putt. Once the ball is holed out, no further strokes are permitted.
Tees:
Men (Under 64) = Gold Tees
Seniors (65+) = Silver Tees
Women, Juniors (14 & Under) = Green Tees.
Rules of Play:
- USGA rules will govern all play with the exception of the local rules listed below.
- Ball may be moved one club from its position, no closer to the hole & 6 inches on the green (Must be in like conditions).
- Smooth and place in all sand traps. Rakes currently have been removed fairway bunkers.
- The tournament committee will make all rulings and their decisions shall be final.
- NO PRACTICE PUTTING – strictly enforced (2 Shot Penalty)
Range Use:
Each golfer receives a complimentary warm-up basket prior to the round. Since the event carts will remain in place until the start of the event, we ask participants plan accordingly. Balls will be located at the stations.
Scoring:
We would ask one person in each foursome download the Golf Genius app for mobile/live scoring (Click here for download links). By entering the hole by hole scores for all teams, our event results and winnings will be available more promptly. To enter in scores open the Golf Genius app and enter in the GGID number located at the bottom of your official scorecard. Then enter your score after each hole. It will also provide a live leaderboard for the event. If other players are interested in the leaderboard or final results use GGID#: MADNESS2022
After completion of your round, scorecards will be collected in the Bar & Grill to validate the posted scores. All event winnings will be posted on the website upon completion of play.
Once all scorecards are collected, Bridges staff will break all ties by USGA recommended scorecard playoff.

Hole Contests:
Closest to the Pin on All the Par 3’s = $50 Gift Card for each winner!
Skins Game: (Optional)
$40 per team. Skins won will be held in golf shop for the team captain to pick up. If no skins are won, the skins pool will be added to the prize disbursement to those teams that participated in the skin pool. 1st Place = 50% of Pool, 2nd Place = 30% of Pool, 3rd Place = 20% of Pool
Return your scorecards to the Bar & Grill after completing play.
