2021 Mens League
We are very excited to get our ever-popular Men’s Night started for the 2021 season. This welcoming group is a provides a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new members at the same time. All ability levels are encouraged to play and the main goal is to have fun and build camaraderie among our membership. We will return to a 5:30 shotgun start in the hope that we can comfortably enjoy each other’s company in a socially distanced environment following the round. We will have weekly food and drink specials in Kirkwood’s Pub to pre-order before play and have it ready for you promptly as you come off the course. There is no season long commitment – You can play as few or as many weeks as you desire so please consider taking part and making this our best year yet.
Night #1: June 3rd
League Fees: $35 League Initiation – To fund shootout and end of season celebration
Nightly Fee: $5 – To pay out nightly individual/team winners
Optional Skins: $10 ($5 Gross/$5 Net)– The golf shop will run the skins game and all payouts will be in shop credit
Guests are welcome to play a maximum 3 times per season
Guest fees: $25 Greens Fee + $5 Nightly Fee (Cart/Skins Optional)
How it’s going to work:
This message is considered your invitation to play. Please email me at daniel.ruane@destinationhotels.com to sign up and initiate your league membership. In this email please indicate if you will or will not be playing week #1. After Week #1 you will receive an email invitation to play each week and you must respond to that to confirm you are coming. I will not assume that you are playing just because you played the previous week. Weekly signups will close on Wednesdays at 11:59 pm. All changes after the deadline should be communicated directly with the golf shop.
Format:
Formats will vary weekly between individual and team competitions. I also have a few new tricks up my sleeve to shake things up on occasion. In the spirit of creating member relationships you will be playing with different people each week. I am also looking forward to rotating more frequently between the front and back nine. A season long points race will determine the 10 players that get to compete in our end of season shootout. This late summer highlight is an excellent opportunity to cheer for and/or heckle your golf buddies as they try to capture the League Title. League will run for 10 weeks of regular season play followed by the shootout.
