Eligibility: MSGA Tuesday tournaments are open to all active female members of the MSGA. A member may bring a guest to a regular Tuesday tournament. A guest may only participate in one event per season.

Format: Regular Tuesday tournaments are 18-hole stroke play with full handicaps. Maximum handicap index allowed for competition is 36.4. The field is divided into equal flights for individual prize awards. Each player within a foursome should sign and attest the official scorecard at the end of the round. As per MSGA Pace of Play Policy, the scorecard should indicate beginning, mid and ending times of a round.

Registration: Weekly tournament fee is $26. Registration can be completed by mail or online. Players sign up individually and will be paired with other participants to make a threesome/foursome. Request for a playing partner can be made at the time of registration. Tee times are determined at random under the supervision of the tournament manager. Consideration is given to occasional special requests as well as commuting distance of players. Tee sheets are posted online approximately 12 days before the tournament. As per MSGA Pace of Play Policy, the scorecard should indicate beginning, mid and ending times of a round.

MSGA Regular Tuesday Women's Events  

Eligibility: MSGA Tuesday tournaments are open to all active female members of the MSGA. A member may bring a guest to a regular Tuesday tournament. A guest may only participate in one event per season.

Format: Regular Tuesday tournaments are 18-hole stroke play with full handicaps. Maximum handicap index allowed for competition is 36.4. The field is divided into equal flights for individual prize awards. Each player within a foursome should sign and attest the official scorecard at the end of the round. As per MSGA Pace of Play Policy, the scorecard should indicate beginning, mid and ending times of a round.

Registration: Weekly tournament fee is $26. Registration can be completed by mail or online. Players sign up individually and will be paired with other participants to make a threesome/foursome. Request for a playing partner can be made at the time of registration. Tee times are determined at random under the supervision of the tournament manager. Consideration is given to occasional special requests as well as commuting distance of players. Tee sheets are posted online approximately 12 days before the tournament. Carts can be reserved at the time of registration but are paid for by the individual directly to the course on tournament day.

Prizes: Gross and net prizes are awarded in each flight. Number of places paid is determined by the size of the field. Winnings accumulate in your MSGA account.

ELIGIBILITY

The Two-Person Team Scramble tournament is open to all females who have enrolled and paid the annual registra- tion fee to the Maine State Golf Association for 2018. To register, players must be active in GHIN at a Maine club.

FORMAT

Players form their own two-person teams for the scramble event using a traditional scramble format. Both players tee off on every hole, choose the more favorable position and hit the second shot from there, and con- tinue the same routine until the ball is holed out. Each player must contribute at least FOUR drives. Preferred lies of one club length are allowed from all conditions except hazards. As per MSGA Pace of Play Policy, the scorecard should indicate beginning, mid and ending times of a round.

Entries will not be taken over the phone or in person outside the MSGA office.

Cost: The entry fee for the Two-Person Team Scramble tournament is $52.

Entry Deadline: Online entries must be completed by midnight, and paper entries must be postmarked no later than the deadline date.

Please apply early to allow time for resolving errors, for completing applications with missing information, and for addressing eligibility issues.

PRIZE STRUCTURE

Prizes will be awarded to top gross and net teams. The number of places to be paid will be determined by the number of entries. Results will be emailed to tournament participants and posted to our tournament portal. Winnings will be recorded in your MSGA account.
