PLEASE NOTE: Participants must first register in the MSGA Tournament Directory to play in any MSGA event (see directions below). This is a one-time registration, and is for the JUNIOR who is playing, NOT the parent who is applying on behalf of the junior. Each child needs to register separately. If you did this last year, you can skip this step. After registering, you can log in and apply for a specific event.

DISTRICT #2 EVENT DETAIL: Tee times will start at 8:00 am. Lunch and range balls will be provided. For questions about this qualifier, please contact Geoff Groshelle at 406-781-0916.
Tee times will be emailed, texted, and posted by June 1.
Requirements:
Open to all junior boy and girl golfers who are a resident of Montana (attend a Montana School) and who have not reached the age of 19 or attended college by June 20, 2022.
Entry Fee is $20 per individual for the District Qualifier, and is paid with the application. There will be no entry fee to play in the State Junior Championship in Laurel.
If not exempted, you must first participate in a District Qualifier. Low 4 boy and 4 girl contestants in 3 age categories (13 and under, 14-15, and 16-18) will move on to the State Championship. Top winners of the State Championship (ages 14-18) advance to the 2022 Junior Americas Cups, Montana-Alberta Cup, and Junior World.
Important note about Exemptions: Some participants qualify for exemption from playing in a qualifier (top winners from select tournaments) and move directly to the State Championship. An exemption list is posted at msgagolf.org/state-junior-championship. IF YOU ARE EXEMPT, YOU MUST STILL APPLY FOR A DISTRICT QUALIFIER AND PAY THE ENTRY FEE. Please note whether you will be playing in your qualifier or not.
MSGA Membership (with a GHIN®#) is encouraged, but not required. Junior MSGA Memberships are free for under 19. Apply through your local club, or contact the MSGA at 1-800-628-3752, ext 1, or support@msgagolf.org. Online registration is available for some clubs (see www.msgagolf.org/course-search).
