The inaugural event of the 2022 Prairie Scratch Tour. Max 60 player field. Open to all PST members. Registration for members will open on April 20st, 2022. Deadline is May 17th, 2022 at 11:59pm CST. If the field is not filled, we will open the registration to non-members. Only Tour members will be eligible for the season long points race. The winner of this will be awarded the Art Johnston Trophy at the conclusion of the season.

 

 

 

 

Tournement Information and Eligibility 

The Spring Classic is a 36 Hole Official Stroke play event open to all members and non-members over the age of 14 years old with a handicap index of 5.9 or lower. THIS IS A NO HANDICAP SCRATCH EVENT. GROSS SCORE ONLY.

 

 

 

Registration

All players must register throuh the Golf Genius event portal (LINK). Registration will open on April 20th, 2022. Members will have until May 18th at 11:59pm CST to register. Non-members who register will remain on the pending list until member registration closes. Non-memebrs will then be added to the field based on when they signed up until the field is full. Once you register, your credit card will only be charged once you have be moved off the PENDING list.

Member Priority

Prairie Scratch Tour members will be given priority registration until May 18th at 11:59pm. After this time non-members who have registered with payment will be admitted into the field if we are not already full with members.

Member entry fee - $160

Non-member entry fee - $210 (cart not included)

  • $40 per player directly into prize pool = $2500 purse based on 60 player field ($2500 Prize Purse is guaranteed)

Course Set-Up

Grand Pines Golf Course will have a championship setup, playing to approximately 6600 yards (blue tees).

 

 

 

Caddies

Players are allowed to bring their own caddie. We ask that all caddies wear soft sole or spikeless shoes.

Please be advised that caddies will be required to walk and will not be allowed to ride in their player's cart.

 

 

Practice Rounds

Practice rounds can be booked by calling the Grand Pines Pro Shop at (204)-756-2345. Practice rounds will be covered at the players own expense.
