Amateur Championship Qualifying – Summit Chase Country Club |

ELIGIBILITY |
Open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members and residents of the state of Georgia. |
|
FIELD |
100 players’ maximum at each qualifying site. |
|
FORMAT |
18 hole individual stroke play qualifier. A total of 144 players will advance to the Championship proper. Qualifying places will be awarded according to a pro-rated formula. You will be informed as to the number of qualifying places in your section the day of qualifying. |

CHAMPIONSHIP FEE |
Player’s advancing to the Championship will be responsible for a $150.00 Championship fee. This fee will be charged when the player accepts their invitation. |

PRACTICE ROUNDS |
One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below two weeks prior to the competition. Please call Summit Chase Country Club to reserve your practice round starting time after May 21. Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

YARDAGES & TEES |
The BLUE tee markers and yardages will be utilized for the qualifying round. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. |

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: |
The golf shop and driving range will open at 7:00 a.m. on the day of qualifying. |

STARTING TIMES |
Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning on May 28. |

REGISTRATION |
No formal registration will be held on site. |
|
CARTS |
Practice round cart and range fees are $30 plus tax. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. |

RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY |
The GSGA Rules of Play, Pace of Play and Cart Policies shall be in effect. Click here to view the policies. |

FOOD SERVICE |
Food service will be available throughout the day. |
|
REFUND POLICY |
A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled. Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by notifying the GSGA Rules and Competitions Department at (770) 955-4272 or via e-mail. |
