INFORMATION
TOURNAMENT DATE: Tuesday, July 26th
TEE TIME: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.
DIRECTIONS: Take I-196 to 44th Street exit – west to 8th Avenue. Turn right to Port Sheldon Avenue – club is on right.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (616) 698-9898. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as GAM Championship Qualifier contestants.
GAM DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required; however, women may wear collarless shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars. Neither tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted. Players and caddies are expected to adhere to the dress code.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.
FOOD: The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.
CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. PRACTICE RANGE: Practice range is complementary for players prior to round only. The practice range will open one hour prior to the first tee time.
PLAYOFF: In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions
WITHDRAWAL: If you have to withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournaments@gam.golf. If you must withdraw within 24 hours of the competition, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242 ext. 124. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
