Keystone Solid Surfaces prides itself on community involvement and giving back to our fellow Kansans. We are proud to announce The Keystone Charity Classic, a yearly golf tournament, to raise and donate funds to important, life-changing causes. Your gift for the 2022 inaugural tournament will go directly to the charitable organizations of Hadwin Family Foundation and the Sunrise Christian Hoops Foundation.
The Hadwin Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered public charity, helps those experiencing unforeseen medical and financial hardships. The founders, Adam and Jessica Hadwin, always dreamt of adding “parent” to their resume. However, it wasn’t that easy. The pair battled infertility for years, walking a difficult path to parenthood. Their goal is to help others in their quest to build families. The foundation funds IVF treatment and provides monetary support to critical Kansas charities like the Ronald McDonald House Wichita and the Kansas Children’s Foundation. The nonprofit is also creating a grant to further assist families facing medical hardships and provide increased overall support to the Kansas community.
The Sunrise Christian Hoops Foundation oversees and financially supports the Sunrise Christian Hoops program at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan. This is a training ground for young athletes, many who go onto play D1 basketball, to grow on the court, to grow in their faith and to become future leaders. This past season the team, made up of teens from across the globe, finished 25 -2 and was nationally ranked as the #1 high school basketball team in the nation for 10 weeks. Other accomplishments this past season include: NIBC Conference Champions, Naismith Boy’s Basketball Coach of the Year, Gatorade National Player of the Year, Gatorade Kansas Player of the Year, and two McDonald’s All-Americans.
