FORMAT

36-holes of individual stroke play. Gross scores will be calculated after the round and posted on the tournament's website.

 

ELIGIBILITY 

Senior Division: 55yrs-64yrs old **As of 8/29/2022

Legends Division: 65yrs old+ **As of 8/29/2022

 

COURSES PLAYED - Will be determined by August 15, 2022

Senior Division: Gold tees 6,500yds+-

Legends Division: Blue 6,000+-

 

**PRACTICE ROUNDS - $25+TAX

• May be scheduled 3 days in advance by calling the Golf Shop at 480-917-6660, extension 2.

 

• Anytime Monday-Thursday and after 12:00pm  Friday-Sunday. 

 

**The courses played for the Championship may NOT always be available during the time at which a tee time request is made. 

 

PAIRINGS

First Round Pairings will be available by 5:00pm Tuesday, August 30. Tee times will range between 6:30am-8:30am

 

Second Round Pairings will be available by 6:00pm Wednesday, August 31 . 

 

DRIVING RANGE

Practice facility will be available each morning. 

 

CADDIES

Caddies are permitted for the Championship. 

 

GOLF CART USE

Players may walk but are permitted to ride in carts and cart fees are covered in the tournament entry fee.

 

POSTING SCORES TO GHIN

Ocotillo Golf Club  will post all tournament scores to GHIN following the event. Players should not re-post event scores.

 

PAYOUTS

Payouts will be awarded to the top 1/3 in each division in the form of gift cards to Ocotillo Golf Club. Specific payout amounts will be posted once field size for both divisions has been determined, and final round scoring is complete. Gift cards will be made available within 48 hours of the completed final round of the championship. Ocotillo Golf Club will mail any gift cards at the request of the players. 

 

WITHDRAW POLICY 

Prior to the Entry Deadline, players may withdraw from the championship and receive a full refund by contacting Kendall Critchfield, Assistant General Manager, by email Kcritchfield@ocotillogolf.com or calling 480-732-1128 and leaving a message. 

 

After the Entry Deadline has passed, any withdraw will be considered a “late withdraw.” Tournament entry fees will only be returned if the player’s position in the field is filled by an alternate.
