Formats.

Sign up as an Individual and players will be divided into two teams: East Team versus the West Team. The winning team will have bragging rights for the season as the Elmira Open Cup Champions.

Each foursome will consist of two players from the East team versus two players from the West team competing for up to 3 points in each match.1 point for the first 9, 1 point for the second 9 and 1 point for the overall match (1/2 points awarded for any ties). The overall tie breaker for the Elmira Open Cup, will be total team quota points on the day.

Separate competition will also be played where all two player teams will be competing in a 2-person total combined quota points vs. the entire field. Credit book prizing will be paid out for the top 25% of teams vs. the entire field, along with some additional prizing based on results.   

Quota Points (British Style): Handicap plus the following:

Double Bogey 0, Bogey 1, Par 2, Birdie 3, Eagle 4, Double Eagle, or Hole -in-One 5.
