Women's One Day Fourball

Starting this summer, the Kansas City Golf Association will begin a series of 5, one-day fourball style tournaments for women. Each one-day tournament stands alone as an individual event with specific prizes such as certificates to be awarded. Female players must have an active GHIN number to be eligible to register.

The format will consist of one 18-hole round with two-woman teams in a fourball stroke play style. A four-ball golf match, used in stroke play competitions, consists of two teams of two golfers playing as partners competing against the rest of the field. Each golfer plays their own ball throughout the round, such that four balls are in play. A team's number of strokes for a given hole is that of the lower scoring team member. It is also known as best ball or more properly better ball.

These events are handicapped and registration opens March 1, 2018.

Entry fee for each player is $85. The default deadline to enter for an event is a week before at midnight.
