PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact the golf shop for rates and availability, (269) 629-9714.  Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as U.S. Senior Amateur contestants.  

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In Sectional qualifying and in the Championship proper, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only.  If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, windspeed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3 and subject to the general penalty.  If the player then continues to use the device, the player is subject to disqualification.

FOOD:  The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players have the option to ride or walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Cart fees are at the club’s discretion.  Pull carts may be used if the club allows them. A player and his caddie are not allowed in the same golf cart at the same time, nor may they ride in separate carts at the same time. PENALTY: See penalty clause for breach of the condition on transportation prescribed in The Rules of Golf. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. PRACTICE RANGE:  Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  Range opens one hour before first tee time.

PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament.  If you must withdraw the night or weekend before then please contact the GAM at tournaments@gam.golf.  Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
