Tournament Format

 

The entire field has been divided into 10 flights of two-man teams. Each team plays three nine-hole matches, one against each opponent within their respective flight to determine a flight winner:

• Each match represents +3/-3 possible points.
• All play will be from the BLACK tees (Unless previously specified with the professional staff) (60 & over can play blue tees, 70 & Older can play white tees)
•  The format for each match is a net best ball of the two-man team at 85% handicap (per USGA recommendation for all players in the World Handicap System).
  • Each match will play off the low handicap in the match. The maximum handicap for a player is 44.
• Assignments to flights were made based on the total combined indexes. If two teams have the same combined index, the member with the lower handicap is the higher seed. Match play rules apply throughout the tournament.
  • In the case of a no-show, or injury, the other team will play a match against par.
• The team(s) with the most points win(s) the flight and qualifies for the “Horse Race” to determine our Win(1st), Place(2nd), and Show(3rd)
