Entry Info & Terms of the Competition

 

Age Divisions – there are two age divisions.

 

Eligibility - Open to any male who meets the age requirements of the divisions listed below.

 

High School Division - Player must be 14 and not over 19 by Thursday, July 5, 2023.  Players must have attended middle or high school (or been home schooled) during the 2022-2023 academic year.  High school players must compete in the High School Division.

 

College Division – Player must not be over 24 by Thursday, July 5, 2023.

 

Entry Fee - $125.00 per player.  Field is limited to the first 90 entries.  Entries in excess of 90 will be waitlisted.  Post entries accepted subject to availability of spots.  Call 410-991-7843.  The Committee reserves the right to reject any entry.

 

Entry Open/Close - Entries open Wednesday, March 15 at 9:00 AM and close - Tuesday, June 27 at 6:00 PM.  Refunds:  If a player withdraws by the close of entry on the original closing date of June 27 at 6:00 PM - refund is subject to a $25.00 admin fee.  If a player withdraws after that date and time, no refund will be given. 

 

Format 36 holes of Stroke Play with no cut.  

 

Caddies are not permitted. 

 

Rules of Golf - Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and the R & A.

Prizes and gifts - Trophy awards will be presented to the winner, runner-up, and third place finisher in the High School Division.  Gift certificates will be awarded to the low scores in the College Division and the winner will receive an award plaque.

 

Start Times - Starting times will be e-mailed to all contestants and posted on the event portal shortly after close of entries.

 

Practice Rounds - Call the club the club to schedule.  The fee is the published green fee for the selected day/start time.
