REGISTRATION

All contestants must register with the PNGA, at Blue Lakes Country Club, outside the golf shop, prior to playing in the PNGA Lamey Cup (register before your practice round). The following registration hours have been scheduled: 

WEDNESDAY, MAY 3:            Registration                11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

                       

SCHEDULE

WEDNESDAY, MAY 3:             Practice Rounds         12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

 

THURSDAY, MAY 4:                Four-Ball Matches      8:00 a.m. – 8:50 a.m. #1 and #10 tees
     

THURSDAY, MAY 4:                Foursome Matches    1:30 p.m. – 2:20 p.m. #1 and #10 tees
 

FRIDAY, MAY 5:                      Singles Matches         8:00 a.m. – 9:28 a.m. #1 and #10 tees

 

PLAYOFF

If there is a tie between teams after scheduled play, a playoff format is in place which will break the tie based on the head to head record of the teams involved. 

 

PRACTICE ROUND

Each contestant may play one complimentary practice round at Blue Lakes Country Club prior to the championship. Practice rounds will be available from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3. Players must schedule practice round times through the online registration portal. 

 

DRESS CODE

Players must follow the PNGA Dress Code at all times while on host club property. Players will be encouraged to wear matching team uniforms (i.e., shirts, outerwear, etc.) with their respective association logo or the PNGA Lamey Cup logo, provided by their own association.

 

GOLF SHOP

The golf shop will open each day from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

 

CADDIES

Players are permitted to have a caddie. Host club caddies are not available.

 

AUTOMOTIVE CARTS

The use of automotive carts during play will be permitted. Carts are complimentary and will staged outside the golf shop each morning. Players are not required to use a cart.    

 

RANGE BALLS

Range balls will be available at the driving range during the practice round and on each day of the championship, courtesy of the PNGA. The range will be open each day from7:00 a.m. – dusk. 

 

CLUB STORAGE

Club storage will be available to players beginning on Wednesday, May 3 and is complimentary. Arrangements can be made in the golf shop.

 

LOCKER ROOM

The men’s and women’s locker rooms will be available. Individual lockers will not be available.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

All major credit cards and cash are accepted in the golf shop and clubhouse. Cash in Canadian currency is not accepted.   

 

CONTESTANT LUNCHES

A buffet lunch, hosted by the PNGA, will be in the Clubhouse Dining Room on Thursday, May 4 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. and on Friday, May 5 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. If a player plans to have a guest for lunch (spouse, caddie, etc.) on either day, they must register and pay the associated fee online prior to April 14. Guest lunches are $25 (USD) per day.

 

CONTESTANT BANQUET

The banquet, hosted by the PNGA, will take place on Thursday, May 4 in the Clubhouse Banquet Room. No-host cocktails will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner following at 7:30 p.m. The banquet is a formal affair; appropriate banquet or dinner attire is required. This may include dresses, skirts, pants, blouses, sweaters, blazers, etc. for women and coat and ties for men. Each player may bring one guest. Players must register their guests online and pay the associated fee prior to April 14. The guest banquet fee is $50 (USD). Contestants are required to attend the banquet.

 

FOOD SERVICE (NO-HOST)

On Wednesday, food service will be available for lunch in the clubhouse beginning at 11:00 a.m. Grab and go items will be available on the golf course at the snack stands.   

 

On Thursday and Friday, quick bite and grab and go items will be available at the snack stands in the morning.   

 

AWARDS CEREMONY

The awards presentation ceremony will be held in the Clubhouse Banquet Room on Friday, May 5 and will begin immediately after all matches have been completed (approximately 2:00 p.m.). Contestants are required to attend the awards ceremony to its entirety.

 

PRIZES

The traveling crystal perpetual PNGA Cup trophy will be held at the winning association’s headquarters for the ensuing year. Each member of the winning team will receive a Kusak crystal trophy. The winning associations name will be inscribed on the silver perpetual “PNGA Lamey Cup” that is housed at the PNGA offices.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

The PNGA expects all contestants, caddies, gallery, and guests to exhibit proper conduct and behavior on the golf course and anywhere on club property during a PNGA championship. Unbecoming conduct or behavior may be grounds for immediate disqualification, at any time, from any PNGA event.
