Match Play Championship
April 1st, 2017 - October 31st, 2018
Championship Match Play Bracket (Gross)
- First 32 Players to signup
- Seeded on a traditional 32 Team Bracket
- Seeds will be based on April 1st PNWPGA Handicap
- Once field is set, date ranges will be established to complete your match
- Play on a course, date and time that is agreed upon by both players
- Championship match will be set on a day and time to be announced
- Entry Fee is $50.00 payable by check to IEPGA
- Entry deadline is March 31st or once the bracket is full (first 32 players)
Championship Match Play Net Bracket
- First 16 Players to signup (if there is enough interest will expand to 32)
- Seeded on a traditional 16 Team Bracket
- Seeds will be based on April 1st PNWPGA Handicap
- Players will receive 90% of their handicap at the time of the match
- If player A is a +1 and player B is a 4, player B will receive 5 strokes on the holes where they fall
- Once field is set, date ranges will be established to complete your match
- Play on a course, date and time that is agreed upon by both players
- Championship match will be set on a day and time to be announced
- Entry Fee is $50.00 payable by check to IEPGA
- Entry deadline is March 31st or once the bracket is full (first 16 players)
Championship Match Play Senior Bracket (Gross)
- First 16 Players to signup (if there is enough interest will expand to 32)
- Senior player is any player 50+ years of age
- Seeded on a traditional 16 Team Bracket
- Seeds will be based on April 1st PNWPGA Handicap
- Once field is set, date ranges will be established to complete your match
- Play on a course, date and time that is agreed upon by both players
- Championship match will be set on a day and time to be announced
- Entry Fee is $50.00 payable by check to IEPGA
- Entry deadline is March 31st or once the bracket is full (first 16 players)
Additional Information:
You can play in more than one bracket. Any bracket that you are eligible to play in, you can. So if you are a senior, you can play in all three! When registering please check the brackets that you wish to compete in. I will collect checks at a pro-am or you can mail to my home.

If there is not at least 8 players for a bracket, that event will be cancelled.
The Championship and Senior brackets will be gross match play. The Net Championship bracket will be a net competition. Competitors are to arrange their own site and date to play their matches, but matches MUST be played within the timeframe established by the tournament committee (usually 4 weeks). If a match has not been completed within the allotted timeframe, a coin flip will be used to determined the winner. All disputes shall be resolved by the Tournament Committee and its decision shall be final. Match Play deadlines will be forwarded to the competitors in a timely manner after the seeding of the event.
Eligibility:
Inland Empire PGA Chapter Golf members (except those classified as “F” or “Inactive”) and apprentices that have Chapter playing privileges. Senior bracket, Professionals must be 50+ years of age.
