EVENT OVERVIEW

Clovernook Country Club will host the 2023 Official Ohio NAGT Opener and the areas top AM's!

 

History of Clovernook CC-was incorporated on April 13, 1923 by founding member Powell Crosley, Jr.  The 108-acre farm of Mary and George Schild was purchased for $28,000 and renowned golf course architects Langford and Moreau were hired to transform the farmland into a championship golf course.  

Meticulously maintained and largely unchanged, it is fun to play!  The gently rolling terrain is characterized by large undulating greens, manicured fairways and numerous stone bridges crossing two creeks that wind through the course.  Flanked by 100+ year old Oaks, a natural lake fronts both the 17th and 18th holes.  Throughout its 90+ year history, the course has virtually remained the same.

From 1965 to 1968, Clovernook hosted the LPGA Tour Buckeye Savings Invitational.  After the 1967 LPGA event, the LPGA players presented then golf course superintendent, Harry Mesloh with s special award for "having maintained the best groomed course they had played on Tour."  To view the tournament program for the 1968 Buckeye Savings Invitational, please

Pairings- Threesomes expected 

12:30pm Tee Times expected off #1  

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS / PAIRINGS

Check in starts at 11am and will be located outside near the 1st tee box. 

Driving Range and all Practice Areas are included with your entry fee and open to our players at and are located at. 

Side Games are optional and can be pre paid with Venmo or pay cash at check in. Side Games will be emailed in more detail with your pre event players preview.

SCORING

The NAGT will not issue scorecards but instead use Live scoring as official scoring. Players should load the Golf Genius app which will be used to conduct LIVE scoring. Players will receive a GGID code to score and can locate that code on a pre event pairings email, text, and or cart sign.
