Entry fee: Welsh Youth's Entry Fee 1 x £60.00 per Member
Payment: This event has a handicap ballot. Card payment information will be collected and authorised at the time of registration, but your card will not be charged until players are successful in the ballot and confirmed in our system. This will usually be within the first few days following the entry deadline. Please update your card details in your Golf Genius account if they change between entry and this time.
SUMMARY
The Championship shall be open to male and female amateur golfers of all nationalities who meet the terms of competition below.
Entry Qualifications
a) Entries will only be accepted from players with an Official World Handicap Index of 6.0 or less held at an affiliated club to their National Union, or overseas equivalent.
b) Entrants holding both an official WHS Handicap and an overseas handicap must enter this Championship using their official WHS handicap.
c) All entrants must be under the age of 21 on 00.00 hrs on 01 January 2023.
d) Failure to enter in accordance with this condition will result in entry being denied.
The Championship shall be played over 54 holes. 18 holes on day one and day two, the top 70 and ties will play 18 holes on day three.
The Winner shall be the competitor who returns the lowest score over the 54 holes. In the event of a tie, there will be a hole by hole play-off over holes to be decided by the Championship Committee.
A maximum of 144 competitors shall play in the Championship, held at Creigiau Golf Club.
PRACTISE ON THE DAY OF PLAY
Practise facilities at Criegiau are limited. There is a practise area where you would use your own balls (3 bays and max distance of 165 yards). There is also a net near the first tee. However, Hensol Golf Academy is located 10 minutes away by car and will be open from 9am.
