Payment: This event has a handicap ballot. Card payment information will be collected and authorised at the time of registration, but your card will not be charged until players are successful in the ballot and confirmed in our system. This will usually be within the first few days following the entry deadline. Please update your card details in your Golf Genius account if they change between entry and this time.
SUMMARY
The Championship shall be open to male amateur golfers of all nationalities. who meet the entry conditions available below.
Entry Qualifications
a) Entries will only be accepted from players with an official WHS Handicap Index of 6.0 or less held at an affiliated club their National Union, or overseas equivalent.
b) Entrants holding both an official WHS Handicap and an overseas handicap must enter this Championship using their WHS Handicap Index
c) All entrants must be 55 years of age or over on day 1 of the Championship. d) Failure to enter in accordance with this condition will result in entry being denied.
It shall be played over 54 holes. 18 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two and the top 60 and ties will qualify to play 18 holes on day three.
The Winner shall be the competitor who returns the lowest score over the 54 holes. In the event of a tie, there will be a hole by hole playoff over holes to be decided by the Championship Committee.
A maximum of 144 competitors shall play in the Championship, held at Ashburnham Golf Club.
