PLAYER MEETINGS

Friday, September 29th – Hampton Golf Club 

6:00 pm to 6:30 PM – Event Review (Captains & Golf NB Only)

6:30 pm to 7:00 PM – Teams Meetings with Playing Captains (If Desired)

7:00 pm to 9:00 PM – Reception, Team Selections & Draw Ceremony (Team Matches)

 

FINANCIAL

Golf NB will pay the following costs for the players:
 

  • Meals
    Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
    Sunday - Breakfast, Lunch
     
  • Clothing
    A team sweater will be provided for each player and captain


*Note: Players will be responsible for their own accommodations.  

 

FORMAT

 

MATCHES TO BE PLAYED:

  • Saturday morning: 9 four ball best ball matches (18 Holes)
  • Saturday afternoon: 9 alternate-shot matches (18 Holes)
  • Sunday morning: 18 single match play matches
     

RULES OF THE COMPETITION:

  1. Each of the 36 matches will have a weight of one point
  2. Any match which was halved will be considered halved and each side will be awarded one-half point.
  3. The defender will only have to earn half in the matches to successfully defend the cup.
  4. Matches will only be counted if all matches in the flight, i.e. the 9 foursome matches or the 9 four ball best ball matches or the 18 singles matches, were completed. Provided, however, if any of the teams have acquired 18 points during the singles competition, the match will be considered won at that point regardless of a subsequent rainout.

 

STARTING TIMES     

Starting times for the first round will begin between 7:00 and 8:00 am and be 10 minutes apart for the Best Ball portion. The starting times for the second round will begin at 1:30 pm and be 8 minutes apart for the Alternate Shot portion. The first starting time on Sunday for the final round will begin between 8:00 am and 9:00 am at 8-minute intervals.

 

 

PRACTICE FACILITIES, PRESENTED BY BROKERLINK INSURANCE

Practice Facilities at the club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the event. 

 

 

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Golf NB at (506) 451-1324 or by email at admin@golfnb.ca. Entry fees will not be refunded after the application deadline without a medical certificate. Entry fees will be refunded, less a $25 administrative fee, if Golf NB is notified of a player’s intention to withdraw prior to the application deadline. If you do not officially withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future Golf NB and Golf Canada competitions.

RÉUNIONS DES JOUEURS

Vendredi 29 septembre - Hampton Golf Club 

18h00 à 18h30 - Revue de l'événement (Capitaines et Golf NB seulement)

18h30 à 19h00 - Réunions des équipes avec les capitaines de jeu (si désiré)

19h00 à 21h00 - Réception, sélection des équipes et cérémonie de tirage au sort (matches par équipes)

 

FINANCIER

Golf NB prendra en charge les frais suivants pour les joueurs :

 

  • Repas
    Samedi - Petit-déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner
    Dimanche - Petit-déjeuner, déjeuner
     
  • Vêtements
    Un chandail d'équipe sera fourni à chaque joueur et au capitaine.

 

*Remarque : les joueurs sont responsables de leur propre hébergement.  

 

FORMAT

 

DES MATCHS À JOUER :

  • Samedi matin : 9 matchs de quatre balles au meilleur ballon (18 trous)
  • Samedi après-midi : 9 matches à coups alternés (18 trous)
  • Dimanche matin : 18 matches de match play simple

 

RÈGLES DE LA COMPÉTITION :

  1. Chacun des 36 matchs aura un poids d'un point.
  2. Tout match qui a été divisé en deux sera considéré comme divisé en deux et chaque côté recevra un demi-point.
  3. Le défenseur ne devra gagner que la moitié des matchs pour défendre la coupe avec succès.
  4. Les matchs ne seront comptabilisés que si tous les matchs du vol, c'est-à-dire les 9 matchs de quatuor ou les 9 matchs de meilleure balle à quatre balles ou les 18 matchs de simple, ont été complétés. Toutefois, si l'une des équipes a acquis 18 points au cours de la compétition en simple, le match sera considéré comme gagné à ce moment-là, même en cas de pluie.


HEURES DE DÉPART     

Les heures de départ pour le premier tour commenceront entre 7h00 et 8h00 et seront espacées de 10 minutes pour la partie Best Ball. Les départs pour le deuxième tour commenceront à 13h30 et seront espacés de 8 minutes pour la partie "Alternate Shot". Les heures de départ du dimanche pour le tour final commenceront entre 8h00 et 9h00 à 8 minutes d'intervalle.

 

INSTALLATIONS D'ENTRAÎNEMENT, PRÉSENTÉES PAR BROKERLINK INSURANCE

Les installations d'entraînement du club seront mises à la disposition de tous les joueurs du tournoi pendant toute la durée de l'événement.  

 

AVIS DE RETRAIT

Si vous constatez que vous ne pouvez pas participer au championnat, vous devez vous retirer officiellement de l'événement en communiquant avec Golf NB au (506) 451-1324 ou par courriel à admin@golfnb.ca. Les frais d'inscription ne seront pas remboursés après la date limite d'inscription sans un certificat médical. Les droits d'inscription seront remboursés, moins des frais administratifs de 25 $, si Golf NB est informé de l'intention d'un joueur de se retirer avant la date limite d'inscription. Si vous ne vous retirez pas officiellement, vous risquez d'être DISQUALIFIÉ des compétitions futures de Golf NB et de Golf Canada.
