SUMMARY

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

A player may only qualify for either the Medal or ONE of the Challenge Bowls Area Finals.

All playing members, including junior members, with a competition handicap as defined by WHS (Maximum 54.0) are eligible to play.  The handicap divisions based on Handicap Index are: Silver 20.0 and under. Bronze 20.1 - 54.0

Wales Golf Medal

The winner and runner-up of the Wales Golf Medal for the year ending 31st December 2022 will qualify for a 2023 Area Final.

NOTE:  The players who qualify for the Medal cannot be substituted.

Silver & Bronze Challenge Bowls

Affiliated Clubs are asked to hold a competition to find two qualifiers for the Area Finals of the Challenge Bowls (one Silver and one Bronze).

NOTE:  A Challenge Bowl qualifier can be substituted up to 48 hours prior to the area final.  Should a Bowl Qualifier know that she will be unable to play in the Final of this event, she should consider standing down to allow the player with the next best score to play in the Area Final.  In this way she could be helping a fellow member get to the Wales Golf National Final, held at Llandrindod Wells Golf Club.

Please check that you are entering the correct area final from the clubs below.
