Next KWGA activity: Tuesday March 14, 2023

Playday game “Blind Criss Cross” on the Marsh.

 

Shotgun start time 9:00am. Check-in tent outside Pro Shop time: 8:00 - 8:40am.

 

 

Scorecard Reminder

The good news: Scorecards and Golf Genius are matching.  Good job everyone!!!

 

The improvement still needed news: Some cards were incomplete..... putts not added, putts added wrong, no net score recorded, and gross score not totaled. 

Please make sure your scorecards are completed correctly and fully. Thank you!!!

 

 

Bunker Reminder

Please always take the time to rake the Bunker after you hit out of them. Bunkers are challenging enough, and no one wants to land in a divot caused by someone not raking. So thank you for raking!

 

If Bunkers are undergoing work, they can be played as ground under repair.

Following up after our Rules clinic, Definitions and the Local Rules sheet were emailed to everyone in KWGA and is posted in the newsletter section of Golf Genius.

Calendar Look-Ahead for the 18 League

March 21 & 22: Tues & Wed Tournament. “MEMBER MEMBER MATCH PLAY”

This will be played on the Island and there is no Follow the Field.

Sign up as a 2-person team. Sign up yourself and then on next screen add your partner. 10 stroke maximum handicap differential between team members.

Match Play –– best ball match play.  USGA Match Play rules in effect

Each team plays 5 matches over the 2 days.  

Day 1 is three six-hole matches and Day 2 is two six-hole matches.

$20 Charge for this tournament that will be billed by COK.

Number of flights and prize money determined by number of entries.

Scoring: 1 point per hole for winning, ½ point for ties.  1 extra point for winning the match and 1/2 point if match tied.

Winner determined by total points accumulated. COK Gift cards will be issued.
