Golf Committee requests donation to COK Charity Classic
The Club's Charity Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday September 8.
The Charity Classic is the club's official fund-raising charity event. 70% of the funds raised go to Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM), an interfaith organization that helps Northeast Harris and Eastern Montgomery County residents in crisis by providing essential resources to move towards self-sufficiency. 30% of the funds raised go to Employee Care Foundation (EPCF), a 501(c)3 established to help Employee Partners of our family of Clubs in need of financial assistance in times of crisis.
To help in the fund-raising effort, the COK Golf Committee (comprised of Association Presidents and COK golf leadership) will assemble a basket of goods for auction at the event and asks that each Golf Association contributes so they can so they can purchase items for the basket. Any amount helps and any amount is appreciated!!
Joan Rendl will be collecting any contributions during Playday check-ins Aug 22, Aug 29 & Sept 5 or contact her directly at 571-259-2240. She will compile the contribution from KWGA to the Committee. Look for a contribution box at your check-in location!
