The Junior Links Championship

The Junior Links Championship is Carnoustie Golf Links’ most prestigious tournament for junior season ticket holders. The tournament is open to all junior season ticket holders with a handicap index of 36.4 or less who are under-18 on 1st January 2023. The championship comprises of a 18-hole Stroke Play qualifying competition, followed by a Match Play knockout competition contested by the leading four scratch qualifying scores. The qualifying round will also count toward the 2023 Craws Order of Merit as event number 3. This year, the qualifying round will be held on Saturday 6th May and will be played on The Carnoustie Burnside Course. The Match Play competition will also be played over The Carnoustie Burnside Course and the dates of play are as follows:

Semi Finals - From 8th May - Players will arrange their own matches
Final - Saturday 3rd June - 1.45pm

Entry* for The 2022 Junior Links Championship will open on 1st April 2023 and will close on 29th April 2023. Tee times for the qualifying round will run from 1.07pm-2.22pm. Entries can be made by clicking the registration tab and will require your Scottish Golf CDH number. *A total of 33 places are available in the starting field. If the entry exceeds 33 players, the field will be decided via a handicap ballot.
