Welcome to the 2023 City of Charleston Men's City Championship
Eligibility: Open to any male amateur who has resided in Charleston County, Dorchester County, or Berkeley County as of April 30th, 2023.
Registration Information: $225.00 - Includes tournament green fees, Saturday meal, range balls, prizes, golf cart, and tee gift.
- Registration schedule will proceed as follows:
- Registration Opens Saturday, April 1st at 8AM
- All registrations will be immediately moved to pending status through Friday, April 7th. At this time, all exempt players will be added to the field and the rest on a first come, first serve basis:
- 2023 Exemptions include:
- All Past Men's City Champions
- All Past Budsy Howard Award Winners (Low Finisher for first time participant)
- Top 25 Finishers (including ties) in 2022 Men's City Championship
- Top 5 Team Finishers (including ties) in 2023 Men's City Four Ball Championship
- Top 10 Finishers (including ties) in 2022 Men's Senior Championship Overall Division
- Top 10 *Eligible Finishers (including ties) in 2022 SCGA Public Links Championship hosted at The Muni (*Players meeting resident requirements only)

Tournament Format: 54-HOLE STROKE PLAY – Field will be flighted after 36 Holes. Flights will be based on 36-hole total gross score. All players will play the Championship Tees (Blue).
Measuring Devices: USGA approved distance measuring devices ONLY are approved for tournament rounds.
Caddies and Carts: Caddies permitted for all tournament rounds. Only player OR caddie may ride in a cart. Foursomes are limited to two (2) carts per group. Cart fees are included in entry fee.
- Evans Scholar Youth Caddies can be available by request for minimum gratuity of $20/round (remaining fee paid by Evans Scholar Foundation). Please e-mail Marshall Ormand to inquire.
Pairings and Scoring: Friday & Saturday pairings will be in threesomes and will be available by Wednesday, May 17th at 5:00PM. Sunday tee-times will be posted within 2 hours of conclusion of Saturday’s Round.
