Session 1 – Insuring Your Future

• What is insurance and why is it important?
• The many types of insurance
• Protecting today and planning for tomorrow
• What are my exposures?
• Work and home – both need coverages
• Am I at risk when I give a lesson to a student?
• What are the things I need to insure and which ones aren’t
• What is self-insurance and a lesson on deductibles
• Future needs and opportunities – 401K and Simple IRA’s
• How to evaluate your needs and find the right coverage

 

 

Session 2 – Teaching the Gifted

Guest Speakers: Joe Thiel, PGA & Tad Davis, PGA

3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• How to identify the unique student.
• What do you do different to maximize progress
• How to keep them excited and interested
• Which events and tournaments do you steer them too
• How do you keep the parents in the right place
• Burnout and ways to avoid it
