Sign-up Procedures For Weekly Events

Events: Oak Hills Men’s Golf Association has two weekly events: a White Tee and Blue Tee tournament scheduled from April through September. You can play in an event, any day, from Tuesday through Sunday.

Invitations: You will receive weekly email invitations per event. If you play in either event you must respond to the invitation on or before the day you choose to play. It is permissible to play in both events during a given week.

Playing the Round: If you decide to play the white tee on Tuesday and either do not finish the round or do not like the score that you had, you are prohibited from playing again in the white tee event for that week. The only day you can post a score is the initial day you sign up. If your time is cancelled for that day, you may play another day but if you tee-off, you may not play again in the white tee for that week.

Scoring: Scorecards for the events are in the Blue, White and Green (Super Senior) mailboxes by the scoreboard close by the Starter’s booth. However, we will only accept scores posted on your phone (digitally recorded). You are permitted to enter scores by phone during the round or you can complete a scorecard and the transfer to your phone and submit after the round on that day.

In the interim, while we migrate to our new system, please complete a scorecard as an initial verification. It must be filled out completely and be readable. Write down the last name, date played and tee-off time in the boxes provided.

Again, for now, please put completed scorecards in the mailbox by the entrance to the Pro shop on the Porch side.

Attestation: You must play with an OHMGA member to attest your score and it must be signed on the card. If you are twosome playing in a two-man event, you must play with another two-some or a single from the men's club to attest your score.

Rules: When playing please follow the USGA and local rules, remember this is supposed to be fun but in accordance with the Rules of Golf.

You must post your score in GHIN the day you play, as the handicaps are adjusted daily. Please note, the Golf Genius system automatically post scores for event play.
