Dear Members, welcome back and hope you and loved ones are doing well!!
The 2023 season is here! We are excited about the Golf Genius enhancements with this website, digital scoring and much, much more. We will hold our annual spring meeting on 3/28/2023 at 6:30 PM. You can click the date link for more information. Also, we will provide information via email blasts & posts right here throughout the year. You can still find detailed golf course information on the Oak Hills website. Also, if you are not receiving email blasts from us, please send a message on our contact form or email us at oakhillsmens@gmail.com.
Membership
You can still pay your 2023 dues online conveniently through Golf Genius or in the pro shop via check or credit card. Once you sign up, then you will be eligible to play in tournaments and we have a number of new ones to challenge you!
Annual Association dues for 2023 will remain at $85 and an additional $15 for the MGA membership, if interested. Junior players (under 18) and college students will continue to receive discounted men’s association rates.
Rules
Please review the critical 2023 Tournament Rules, new Local Rules, and complete Tournament Schedule on the website. The USGA has made some subtle 2023 full & local rule changes to its 2019 revisions, please be aware of them, it's your responsibility. You can click here to learn more about those changes. The Tournament Committee as always will not accept any late sign-up entries for our premier tournament events. Finally, please know we have heard you and made changes to the schedule based on your membership preference.
Shoreline Tournament
Oak Hills will continue to play in the Shoreline tournament again. As you know, this is a competition between 6 clubs (H. Smith Richardson, Alling Memorial, Fairchild Wheeler, Sterling Farms, Hubbard Heights and Oak Hills). The tournament is a one-day low net competition format with teams of 16 players from each course. We need 7 players from 0-10 handicap, 7 players from 11-20 with a President and Tournament Chairman.
The tournament is held typically in late September, and it rotates amongst the competing Fairfield courses. Entry fee is only $75 dollars and covers green’s fee, cart, raffle prizes, dinner and more. If needed, OHMGA will have a flight qualifier, but this year we really want to have a great presence & will engage you all closer to the event.
