TOURNAMENT DATE: Monday, July 10 – Tuesday, July 11. The first round of the tournament will be tee times off #1 and #10 beginning at 12 p.m. in foursomes.
TEE TIME/SHOTGUN START: You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter. In the event of a shotgun start, please be to your assigned cart 15 minutes prior to the shotgun start time for instructions.

PRACTICE ROUND: Please contact Bloomfield Hills CC for availability. Players should call (248) 644-6262 and identify themselves as participants in the GAM Super Senior Championship. The club has allocated a limited number practice round times on the afternoons July 6, 8, and 9. The greens fee for the practice round will be $100 and the cart fee $25. RATES AND AVAILABILITY ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE HOST FACILITY. PARTICIPATION IN THE TOURNAMENT DOES NOT ENTITLE A PLAYER TO A PRACTICE ROUND OR ROUNDS AT HIS CONVENIENCE.
FOOD: A buffet lunch will be available on both days of the tournament.
GAM & BLOOMFIELD HILLS CC DRESS CODE: Shirts with collars and sleeves are required and must be tucked in. Neither tank tops, tee shirts, tennis shirts, hoodies, joggers, mock shirts, blade collars, cargo shorts, tennis shorts, short shorts, gym shorts, cut-offs, bathing suits nor denim pants/shorts are permitted. Hats must be worn facing forward. Flip-flops, sandals, and poolside footwear are not permitted. Players are expected to adhere to the dress code. Those inappropriately attired may be asked to change clothes before being allowed access to the course. The GAM will adhere to any specific dress standards mandated by a host facility.
GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: The following Rule applies to players and caddies. In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS, the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.
CADDIES/CARTS: Automotive transportation is mandatory in this championship. NOTE: Only competitors may ride in a players’ cart. A maximum of two (2) player carts per group. Spectator carts are only permitted if a request, accompanied by a doctor’s note confirming the spectator’s need for a cart, is submitted to the GAM at least two days prior to the competition. Whether or not a spectator cart is granted is subject to cart availability at the course. PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the Champion and Runner-Up in the Super Senior and Legends Division. In addition, a prize will be awarded to the player age 75-and-over with the best score.
PLAYOFF: In case of a tie for the championship in the Super Senior or Legends Division, a sudden-death playoff will begin immediately after all scores are posted.
WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please notify the GAM by e-mailing tournaments@gam.org. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future GAM competitions.
